- In the 13 years she was with us, Julie demonstrated why she was so special. Despite having cystic fibrosis (CF), Julie loved to dance, sing and perform gymnastics. Against this nasty disease, she stood strong. Her concern for her academics showed when she was awarded "Most Conscientious Student", despite not being able to attend school much in 2002. Julie fought cystic fibrosis her whole life and she was a powerful example to her family and friends. Those who knew Julie admired her spirit, her spunk and her determination for life. Deeply loved and truly missed.
